Experience

Denise has been a Director of Simple OHS Solutions for over 2 years, as part of a career in OHS that has spanned over 15 years. Denise has extensive industry experience as an OHS Manager, Consultant and more recently, Principal and Company Director.

Key Achievements

• Simple OHS Solutions project managed a $200K WorkSafe funded in the Plastics Industry.  The project achieved improvement in OHS standards within the participating employers and was delivered on time and under budget.
• Supplying weekly in-house OHS specialist support for a multi-site organisation employing approximately 260 staff across Australian & New Zealand operations for over 2 years.
• OHS system development to SafetyMAP Initial Level certification in 9 months for a medium sized transport company.
• Assisting a medium sized manufacturing company with high level interaction with WorkSafe. This resulted from a number of improvement notices being outstanding for over 12 months.  All notices were lifted and the intervention was significantly reduced.
• Taking WorkSafe Victoria to their first SafetyMAP certification.
• Significant reduction in WorkCover premiums for employers through improved claims and injury management.
